Hello,

My name is Austin Dent. I am originally from Pataskala, Ohio, a small farm town 20 miles east of Columbus. I currently live in Summit County, Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and ski country. 

Growing up all I did was play soccer. Soccer ended up being the vehicle that allowed me to get a scholarship to play in college. I attended Capital University in Bexley, Ohio. While in college I saw the movie, "Wolf of Wall Street," and I convinced myself that that was the life I wanted. I graduated in May of 2015 with a BA in Financial Economics and was ready to take on the banking world. During multiple interviews with banks I was told I would have to work an average of 60-70 hours a week for 3-4 years before my lifestyle might improve. This is when I realized I wanted more out of life; rather than sitting behind a desk or studying for my series 6 and 7. A month later I was on my way to Colorado.

I have now lived in Colorado for 5 years. I am living the stereotypical Colorado life. In the winters I'm on the mountain almost everyday snowboarding. In the summers, I'm hiking, backpacking, and trying out multiple other adventures. 

Wherever I go, I take my camera with me. I use my camera as an extension of my eye. I hope that by taking pictures other people can feel as if they're with me on my adventures.
