The Pennsylvania Mine sits just east of Keystone Ski Resort. The mine was erected in 1885 and was active until 1930. Estimated production totaled about 2860 oz. of gold, 760,000 oz. silver, 6,600,000 lb. lead, plus lesser amounts of copper and zinc.
